We are looking for a Senior Manager of Tax to become part of a dynamic global tax organization and partner with not only other finance personnel, but also other business support functions and operations. The overall responsibilities of the position and candidate required profile are as follows.
· Assist with analysis and preparation of US tax provision and supporting workpapers, journal entries and SEC disclosures on both a quarterly and annual basis including FIN 48 (ASC740-10) evaluation and documentation
·For foreign affiliates, assist with review and analysis of local country tax provisions and supporting workpapers, journal entries and SEC disclosures on both a quarterly and annual basis including FIN 48 (ASC740-10) evaluation and documentation8
· Support and assist with quarterly effective tax rate forecasting
·Prepare quarterly account reconciliations for US tax accounts and assist with review of account reconciliations of tax accounts of foreign entities
·Manage federal and state income tax compliance including estimated payments and extensions
·Develop and maintain detailed tax attribute calculations and carryforwards by legal entity including foreign tax credits, untaxed earnings and profits, PTI, tax pools, tax basis, DITs, DCLs, etc.
· Assist in maintaining transfer pricing documentation to support intercompany transactions
·Manage all federal and state income tax audits, and respond to tax notices and inquiries to minimize penalties and interest
·Assist in the identification, analysis and implementation of tax planning opportunities and the mitigation of tax risks
·Provide support for various tax planning projects, such as international and domestic restructuring, entry into new international markets and domestic planning projects
·Research and monitor issues and changes in US federal and state income tax law and regulations, prepare technical memoranda to support tax accounting positions. Assist with acquisition and divestment projects, review transaction documents, tax due diligence materials
·Identify tax credits/deductions for R & D projects and oversight of annual calculation for credits and deductions related to internally developed products
·Ensure that existing internal controls over tax processes are strictly followed in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley
·Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
·CPA required, MST preferred
·Minimum of nine years of corporate income tax experience with at least four years at a manager level required
· At least three years experience with one or more of the Big 4 accounting firms required. Additional experience within the corporate tax department of a multinational, public company required.
·Exceptional income tax provision skills. Hands-on knowledge of and experience with TaxStream and OneSource required
·Positive attitude towards teamwork and the ability to work independently, decisively and efficiently
·Pragmatic and results-orientated with a collaborative approach to providing tax solutions, process improvement and support to meet the company’s needs and objectives
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior Excel skills
·Must be willing to work a manageable amount of overtime consistent with business flows and/or surge periods
