This is a rare find, a very heavy wood/Coal burning stove/heater dating back to early 1900's. It is made of solid cast metal combined with brass sheeting and gorgeous ceramic tile. Tile is in exceptional shape. It has a top tile surface for cooking, it is separated from the steel top by small posts. This heater converts from a heater to a fireplace by closing a trap front door which slides up and down, making it air tight and more economic. It also has a front fire screen which is original.
