For sale is a late 19th century to very early 20th century painting by an artist I simply can't identify the signature of. I know it's Argentine in origin as it's stamped verso with an Argentine logo; however, given the influx of European artist to Argentine in the 19th century, this could possibly be a European artist. I've had an Argentine dealer look at the painting and while he believes the landscape to be Argentine, even he couldn't figure the signature out. This is a great piece with nice colors and an incredible gilt gesso on wood frame. The painting and frame are in great condition. It measures 32" tall X 43-1/2" wide - framed.
