Meet Baxter! He is approximately 9 months old and a sweet boy! His previous family had him and his brother inside for the first few months when he was really small, then delegated them both to live outside. They did the same thing to their Shih Tzu and black lab.
And then they moved! Left all to fend for themselves. Baxter’s brother wandered off and was not to be seen again. The neighbor felt so bad for them she put out a plea to get them saved. She’s unable to take them because she is unemployed and has 2 cats of her own, 1 of which doesn’t like Baxter.
A home was found for both dogs but Baxter is still hanging around the ‘hood. He just got neutered, rabies and distemper shot, and is negative for FeLV/FIV. (Aug 7). He is ready for his new home! He has lived with dogs, cats and children. If you can find it in your heart to give him a forever home, he’d be forever grateful.
