Courtesy Post: Do Not Contact the shelter about this kitten! A very nice lady found a cat in the parking lot a local PetSmart parking lot. She was obviously pregnant, very hungry and very feral. Since the momma cat was found on a Saturday night, her vet clinic was closed. The cat would have to wait until the vet clinic opened and she could get her an appointment. The following Tuesday morning, she woke to find out that the Momma cat had given birth to 5 beautiful kittens. She was wonderful mommy to her kittens and very protective. Summer is healthy, fully vetted, playful and oh so cute! Summer is still available for adoption, her sister Spring has recently found her forever home. The other kittens were given to a no-kill rescue group but they would not take these two girls because of their color. She was told that tortoiseshell kittens are very difficult to adopt.
