Hi, my name is Witteny. My foster mom tells me that I am about 2 1/2 years, although I don't feel that old, seems my life really just started 8 months ago when foster mom and AAU saved me from death row. This is what I hear foster mom and her friends say about me. I am a beautiful blonde American Pit Bull Terrier, although I had puppies when I was young myself, I am spayed now. I didn't know it was such a good thing, but apparently being housebroken is a great thing to be, and I am. I have no problem if anyone wants to come near my food, or even my toys. I am a girl who is happy doing alot of things. I enjoy going for walks, or even runs, I like playing with the tennis balls, I love chasing this crazy pen that has a laser with a red dot at the end of it, I do like chasing squirrels (I've been told that I shouldn't do that, but I'm a terrier!), but most of all, I like to snuggle. My favorite spot is under the blankets, which I will patiently wait for you to lift them up for me. I am a very smart girl too, I hear. I know how to sit, down, shake, give high fives, stand, and now I am even learning to walk on 2 legs!! Although foster mom is working on it with me, I get very excited around cats and little dogs, they remind me of squirrels, I think. My dream home could be one where I am the only dog, or one with calmer dogs my size or even bigger:) Oh, one last thing about me, I really like kids, big and little! Could YOU be my furever family?
