Hi, I am Peggy D! And I love you…no seriously I love you. I love everyone, cats, dogs, people. I don’t even have to be the leader of the pack; I just want to be a part of the pack. I have been recovering from surgery at my foster mom’s house and it has been great. When I think about all the time I spent wondering around North Georgia without food or a warm touch, it makes be very happy to be fed, have companionship from my foster family and sleep in a soft bed every night. The cats like to put me in my place when I get too friendly, but my foster sister will play with me. Every day I greet my foster mom at the door with excited howls and playful bounding and we go outside to play. I don’t mind sitting for food, but just because I am sitting doesn’t mean I am happy about it. I also like to talk, I will tell you when I want to go out, when I want to come in, and I don’t mind just sitting and gabbing for a while if you are interested. I love to learn and it never takes me long, but I don’t like doing the same thing over and over, so new tricks are always fun. I have a heartworm treatment coming up so wish me luck, but I would like to meet you and even go home with you, if you think you could love me too. I’m about 4 years old and my foster mom says I need a special home; one that has a tall fence and with people that will to play with me and snuggle with me.
