Prince weighs around 60lbs, he is very friendly with all people and walks nicely on a tension collar or slip lead. He's fully vetted, graduated from training BOOT CAMP - and ready for a home. Prince is the perfect gentleman and a total LOVE and so VERY SPECIAL - you will fall in love instantly. Won't you come and meet him? This sweet Prince showed up on the doorstep of some folks at the beginning of December wearing only a pink collar that said 'I'm Prince, I don't bite. Please love me.' He just sat quietly by the back door, hoping someone would let him in. Looking at him you can see that is really all he wants, to be loved. Prince is gentle, friendly and relatively calm for a young dog. He approaches in a submissive way and seems to always be wagging his tail. All he needs now is a home to hang his collar in -- hopefully a new one, message no longer needed. Prince is now living in a house with other dogs, cats, and a 3 year old toddler. But what he really needs is a home of his own. Prince has been neutered, all shots including Rabies and Bordetella and is on Heartgard. He also had a couple of weeks at training boot camp for socialization. Prince understands commands like “sit”, “down” and “stay” -- though not consistent, with a little training he would be on track. All he needs now is a home to hang his collar, hopefully a new one, message no longer needed. He's even masculine enough to wear pink!
Prince has been vaccinated and neutered, but has received a diagnosis of 'light' heartworms and is currently undergoing treatment. He will soon be 100% healthy but is ready for adoption (or foster) ASAP.
