This baby needs a new home. This little guy is a brindle and he is 6 years old. I took him out of a bad situation with hopes of finding a great home for him.
Rehoming fee of $50 to help assure he doesn't end up in another bad situation. He is very small, approximately 3-4 pounds.. Someone with other tiny dogs would be fine, but I'm looking for a home with no dogs much bigger than he is and definitely no small children. As far as dogs go, he gets along with all dogs, including my great danes, but he is very dominant and bossy and some dogs may not tolerate this, so I would prefer he only be with dogs close to his size.
I prefer someone with Chihuahua experience, but that's not an absolute necessity. I hope to at least get someone with a little dog training experience. In his previous home there was no training and he was allowed to bite. Here, in the beginning, he growled at us a few times, but we ignored him and picked him up anyway and he was fine. Since then, we have come to an understanding and 99% of the time he is a little sweetheart. He will still growl if I do something he doesn't like, but he has never bitten me. I am looking for the best possible home for this little sweetie. He is typical Chihuahua, thinking he's the boss and he's 10 feet tall. You have to show him that you are the boss (in a firm, but gentle manner, of course). If you do that and don't make the mistake that so many people make of letting them get away with everything, he will be your loyal, loving little sweetheart.
