Terrier - Evie - Small - Adult - Female - Dog
Courtesy Post: This animal is NOT at the shelter. Please do NOT contact the shelter about this dog, she is in a foster home. Evie is a 4 year old (approx) mixed breed. She weights 40 lbs and is fully vetted. Evie's former owner was charged with neglect when it was discovered that the 12 dogs at her home were malnourished and in very poor health. Evie was the smallest of the 12 dogs so she had lots of litters of puppies and never enough to eat. After spending 18 months at Animal Control, Evie was released to a foster home to heal and find a loving forever home. Evie's foster parents have nursed her back to good health and they report that she has a happy, bubbly personality and loves people. Her favorite toy is a bucket that she loves to push around with her nose and wear on her head! Probably due to her sad past, Evie does not like many other dogs so she will need to be an only dog. She is being treated for a very light case of heartworms but is otherwise in prefect health and has lots of love to give to her new family - she just needs a chance to win your heart.
