Dachshund - Penny - Small - Adult - Female - Dog
Penny is a tiny little purebred Dachshund. She is about 6 years old, weighs approximately 12 lbs, is house-trained and very loving! She does not like most dogs, however, so she needs to be an "only dog." She would rather cuddle and be held than anything else. She likes walks and spending time outdoors, but she does not require an extensive amount of exercise. She would rather just hang out and be a companion. UPDATED INFORMATION: She has been in foster care and her foster mom has shared some of her personality traits as follows: Penny has severe separation anxiety and CANNOT be left in a crate. She craves constant attention. Does not do well with other dogs. Is okay with cats, but will chase them if they run. She's good with kids. Will occasionally pee/poop in the house, if she's not taken out often. Needs help with stairs, and getting on/off the couch. She rides well in the car. Penny would be ideal with an older person provided they are mobile enough to take her out often; able to pick her up; and not leave her alone for long periods of time.
