Clancy is an adorable dog and great companion. His previous owner had to relocate to move in with her mother that was having medical issues. Unfortunately Clancy couldn't go with her, so we are helping to re-home him. He is a really cool dog! If we didn't have so many animals already we would seriously think about keeping him our selves.
Clancy is a real "people person" kind of dog, he rather be with you than any another dog. He will play fetch, do his obedience, hike with you, and jog with you all day long if you wanted him to. After exercise, he is just as happy laying at your feet the rest of the afternoon. We tried Clancy out on our agility course, he catches on to things very fast and does the whole course now! Going over the A-frame and dashing through the tunnel, he really enjoys getting out and doing stuff with you! His favorite toy is an orange squeaky, it seems he will go any distance to retrieve it. LOL
He is an outside dog right now, but does fine inside and has never had an accident in the house. He pretty much loves all kids and does not jump up unless you need a hug and ask him to. Clancy is so into his people he would not mind being an only dog, he has got a good temperament and goes with the flow.
We have not tried him with cats. Working breeds like Huskies, Malamutes, and Shepherds tend to have a high prey drive, so they usually don't get along with small animals. If they are raised with them that is a different case, but we don't know what Clancy has been through. He is just glad to not be on the street, and is waiting for his forever home.
He is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, and on preventative.
