Description:
Several clients with immeiate need for experienced surface mount assembly technicians in North Gwinnett region:

Positions: SMT Assembly Technicians
Location: North Gwinnett County, GA.
Status: Indefinite temporary, possible hiring opportunity
Pay Rate: $12-$15 per hour, commensurate with experience
Shift: 1st & 2nd shift available

DUTIES:
Perform and execute surface mount (SMT) assembly and repair of fine pitch components on printed circuit boards (PCB's) using assembly tools and magnifying glass or microscope.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have at least 3 years experience performing SMT assembly, fine pitch soldering, or repair.
* Able to read and follow schematics and assembly drawings
* Understand and apply ESD requirements & industry quality assembly standards.
* Familiar with IPC / J-STD a plus.
* Able to work without supervision & meet production and repair deadlines.
* Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly during shift.
* Familiar with testing equipment, technical tools (scopes, meters, etc..), and repair procedures in an electronics manufacturing envirnment a plus.
