our client is looking for a strong SAP Implementation consultant in Atlanta. This is a long term consulting position.
We are currently seeking a self motivated Sr. Functional Implementation Consultant with strong SAP implementation and project management experience. Candidate will work closely with technical project teams and partner teams to implement enterprise tax automation software with customer's SAP systems or enterprise financial software. Responsibilities: *Perform process requirements (OTC, PTP) and analysis workshops with clients to define business, process, functional requirements and data element requirements. *Consult and provide guidance with best process, project scheduling, resource availability for successful tax automation implementations. *Lead project teams consisting of TRTA project teams, Partner project teams and Client project team members. *Manage project schedules, budget allocations, define statements of work, manage change control and change requests *Troubleshoot software and implementation issues, provide workaround and functional implementation guidance. *Gather business, process and integration requirements between Sabrix and SAP (SD, FI, MM) *Support customers in preparing and documenting tax use cases and testing scenarios. Qualifications Required Experience, Skills & Education: - Required, BS/BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting & Finance or equivalent - 2+ years functional experience or 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP (SD, MM, FICO), SAP ECC v5.0/6.0 - Functional experience in defining business, data and process requirements OTC and PTP - Experience defining and documenting Test Use Cases and Functional Design Requirements. - Project Lead and management experience. - Strong interest in and aptitude for technology Additional Preferred Experience: - Tax Automation experience implementing 3rd party Tax Engines (Vertex, Taxware, Sabrix, Native SAP) - Experience and knowledge of Sales & Use Tax requirements - "Big 4" or SAP Certified Partner experience Travel - 40-50% travel based on customer projects and assignments
