Director of Quality (RN) - Atlanta, GA - HAF022

Seeking Director of Quality for 600+ bed not for profit hospital, position reports to the Administrative Dir, Operations, your responsibilities will be to direct the management, planning, development, implementation, reporting and evaluation of performance management across the entire care continuum for the Health System and ensure that the facility/entity activity is consistent with the system's overall Mission.

Ensures compliance with the Joint Commission and all legal, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements are met. Develops and maintains proactive and effective collaborative relationships with staff, colleagues, physicians and hospital leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education, Experience and Licensure Required:

Master’s degree in Nursing or related health care field (i.e. public health, healthcare administration, or clinical information systems)
Current Georgia licensure as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 5 years experience in quality/performance improvement CQI/TQM) and 3 years quality management and process improvement experience
Board Certification in CPHQ, CHCQM or ASQ is required;
Six Sigma and Rapid Cycle Performance Improvement certification preferred
Knowledge of the most current performance improvement systems and a proven track record of leading Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives utilizing Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) or similar improvement methodologies
Knowledge of State, Federal, and Joint Commission regulations
Membership in The American Health Quality Association (AHQA) and/or The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) strongly preferred.
Proven project management and team leadership skills
